shielding those close from reality
feeling the rays of fake sunshine when they are locked in the invisible
shadows
The maid begins to clean
noticing someone peaking in through the cracked window
Quickly closing it, politely she invites the stranger in
they enter hoping for truth but its to late
their masks have been glued
tight
The masks never to come off except in complete darkness
so all strangers won't see the truth
clever they are, one day to be fooled
leaving the front door unlocked for all strangers to
see
